I can not say enough positive things about Holton Home & Properties. In particular, Dawn is a delight - an honest broker, when that is a rare thing indeed.

Everyone knows the market is crazy. We'd been looking for months when we viewed the house we bought. We'd come across so many less than honest estate agents. We'd paid for engineer's reports only to be told things that the estate agent/seller must have known but didn't declare. We'd put down a bid only to be outbid again and again in a process that made us doubt whether the other bidder existed. In short we were skeptical and exhausted.

Enter Dawn.

From the very first phone call she was friendly, bubbly, knowledgeable and honest. She told us everything we needed to know about the property. She always answered the phone, always texted back. She was super patient. Obviously she did right by her clients (the sellers) but she treated us (the buyers) with honesty and respect.

When things got tough during the process and I became nervous that the sale might fall through (our buyers, mortgages, etc etc), Dawn was a calm and steady presence. I'm usually not so neurotic, but buying and selling a house in Ireland would make anyone crazy. Dawn listened, advised, calmed.

In the end, she did exactly what an estate agent is supposed to do - she found buyers, brokered the sale and then supported the process to completion. But she did so with such professional integrity, aplomb and patience, it was remarkable.

We are very happy buyers who can't believe their luck to get such a beautiful house in this awful market. I hope we never sell, but if we do, it ll be Holton Homes we ll be using.
